Vintage Hairstyling Book

So I after lusting after this book for about a year, I finally bought it.  I was going to buy it from Pinup Girl Clothing but they were sold out.  So I decided to just buy it straight from the website.  When it arrived I was so excited,  this book is just beautiful, the pictures are gorgeous and the instructions are so easy to understand. 

This is my first vintage hairstyling book and I was not aware at all of the work that went into these hairstyles.  Although it can be tricky at first, the result is very worth it.  I haven't tried all of the hairstyles, but I am planning on trying them all.  Maybe I will post some pictures on here? 

My favorite vintage hairstyles are the ones with more volume and body.

Baby, it's cold outside!

So here we are, it's almost the end of January.  Here in Canada, the Winter seems like it is never-ending.  If I enjoyed the cold I would have no problem with this.  But, I do not enjoy being constantly cold.

So, this is making me even more excited for the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender coming up in April! Just the thought of the weather makes me happy!

 

I just got the news that Elvira will be at this year's event! She will be hosting two of the Burlesque Shows and will have her Macabre Mobile with her in the car show! How exciting!!  Also, the famous Munster Coach will be in the car show as well!  I can't wait!

Along with this, I just can't wait to go shopping.  Most of my vintage favorites have mainly been purchased online, so it will be so lovely to see everything in person!
